Take the 1/2 mile trek to Zapata Falls and of course, drive the 8 minutes or so to Great Sand Dunes National Park!...

Tip for Other Campers:
The campground near the dunes has a camp store with firewood you can take back to Zapata Falls. There is also a dump station there.At the entrance to the ZF campground loop there is a water spigot but I didn't see any indication if it was potable but I would assume it is....
