“Sandwiched btwn I70 and train track”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
Park itself was nice except freeway and train noise. Major freeway on one side and train on the other. We camped at James M. Robb Colorado River State Park, Island Acres Section in a Fifth Wheel.

“Ok campground for an overnight stay ”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
I guess the biggest issue we had was the closeness to I-70. The road noise was quite loud and we couldnt open our windows at night because of it. The site was also fine. We did have to level a bit but...

- SAM_402 We ate at Fidels Cocina and Caroline's in Palisades both were good. Drove into Grand Junction (12 miles) to do some shopping most all types of major stores are there including a Cabellas!
- 2Rainbows Theres a lot of nice wineries in the area. Our favorite was Ordinary Fellow. A little pricey but very good. Our dog was welcome inside. They had no food but there is a brewery next door with food, and a Thai food truck next to that. We got food from the food truck and took it to the winery. Very good. Theres some nice hiking trails in the area. My dog and I did the Perimeter Trail. And if you are there during peach season, make sure to get some.

Nice open, big sites situated next to the Colorado River. The down side is that it also sits next to I-70 which makes for plenty of road noise. Those with pets to careful of the sharp briers that get...

“Very noisy - highway noise”

Good park for our short stop over. There is no check in office so we went right to our site. We had a pull through that was fairly level. The scenery/backdrop is great! Mountains all around. But...
