Tips from campers about Palisade, CO
- Spillman Family The fruit and veggie stands in Palisades were a great daily stop for us, lots of U pick options in all directions. The James M. Robb Colorado River State Park, Island Acres Section just north has excellent trout fishing.2 months ago Palisade Basecamp RV Resort
- _261 - Take the 1/2 day drive up/thru Monument Canyon, its 10 minutes or so west of Grand Junction. We rented a Slingshot (3 wheeler) in Grand Junction and did the drive in that, what a treat! - Make an effort to get fresh peaches! When we later visited Moab, UT, they had a special desert using peaches from this area!3 months ago Palisade Basecamp RV Resort
- Connie Biehle We did a history tour of the area with the Historical society. One of the docents was raised in Pallisades and showed us all the best places to shop and get Peaches. They even allowed us to take our dog. They were wonderful and bouncing around in the back of a jitney was fun. Looking forward to seeing Pallisades again.5 months ago Palisade Basecamp RV Resort
