“Beautiful park with Spacious sites”
Nightly Rate: $36 USD
We stayed in Elk Creek loop site 97, a pull through. Most of the sites are pull through, which made it difficult to get our 42 5th wheel in due to the arc of the site and the trees surrounding it....

Dallas Creek has a birding area where they conduct talks. We didnt get to attend but walked out to the bridge area and took a few pics. We also saw some deer in the area. We drove to two areas where John Waynes True Grit was filmed. We drove to Ross Ranch (where the homestead was filmed) and to Debs Meadow (the shootout field). Both locations took us down...

This park has it all. Beautiful mountainous setting, awesome views, and great park amenities. This is a buck list location. We camped at Ridgway State Park, Elk Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.
