- CraigTexTraveler There is a good-sized sign on the highway identifying the Eagle's Rest RV Park, but when you pull in you may not recognize the office to check in. It is labeled with a sign that says, in large letters, ATM (I posted a picture to help you identify it). - Roadhound1 If youre a history buff, Fort Robinson State Park is a nice place to visit. This is the Fort where Crazy Horse was killed and the Fort where the Buffalo Soldiers who fought the last battle of the Indian wars were stationed. Walmart is about 5 min away. Tip for Other Campers:
If you have a toad or can disconnect vehicle; Longhorn Steakhouse at north end of town has very good home style food. Lost Dog Bar very nice (new bar two years ago) small town bar with a very good food truck (grill) onsite. Springfield is a very nice little town.
