- Jill and Tim Z Elevation Beer Company in Ponchas Springs had some great beers and a large, covered outdoor area which allowed dogs. If clothing optional isnt a deal breaker, definitely visit Valley View Hot Springs. It is part of the Orient Land Trust and you must make a reservation. Deer visited us while we soaked in their various ponds. The sauna was also enjoyable and it had an area to dunk in cool water which was very pleasant.3 years ago San Luis Valley Campground
