As others have mentioned, the campground is quite a distance from the nearest town with a couple of miles of dirt road to get to the nearest highway, so bring everything you need, if possible. There is a nice walking trail around the lake. It is very flat and in good condition so it is an easy walk. I think it might have taken me about 30-40 minutes to walk...
