Tip for Other Campers:
Riverhouse Waterfront Restaurant in Palmetto, which is just outside of Bradenton. If you enjoy nature, Celery Fields in Sarasota and Mayakka River State Park are nice places to visit.

All the sides are very nicely, spaced with vegetation between them lots of shade. We camped at Lake Manatee State Park in a Motorhome.

Tips from campers about Lake Manatee State Park
- Tomzahu We followed our GPS and it took us to an intersecting road (240th street) and route 1 and it was gravel and made a real mess of our clean Truck and RV. So look for the paved road as soon as you come across the bridge outside of town. Campground had a really nice playground,and we were able to get fuel right in town. Two of our favorite places, one which was open Culvers, and the other LongHorn Steakhouse, which was not open but under construction. Lots to do.
