- thecurrys -Road coming into the campground is TERRIBLE - extremely bumpy, narrow, and curvy. Campground road is also rough and narrow. Pretty cluttered and dumpy looking campground outside of the pretty creek view. -Not much nearby at all. 30+ minutes to Morehead City and Beaufort. Havelock is a dump. 45+ minutes to New Bern. -We enjoyed seeing an alligator in the water at the campground. -45+ minutes to oceanfront, even though the website makes it sound closer.1 year ago Long Creek RV Park
