The town of Labelle, about eight miles away, offers shopping and dining. Fishing is permitted, but you must possess a valid Florida license. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement strictly enforces the license requirement.

“A Quiet Get Away Location ”

We love this park. We enjoy watching the boat go through the locks. Great fishing! Nice area to walk or run on the quiet, almost 1 1/2 mile road into the park. No road Noise! Easy access of Route 80....

We spend 13 day in the middle of March. Stayied in site #6 across the street from the locks. Enjoyied watching the boats go throught the locks. We camped at Ortona South in a Motorhome.

Is there a dishwashing station or somewhere I can dump the gray dish water? (I know a lot of campgrounds have the dish station near the bathhouse)...
