This park had a beautiful view of the lake. The camp store is very nice. The sites can be a bit awkward and small depending location. We camped at Pine Island RV and Marina in a Travel Trailer.

Loved the small quaint atmosphere of this campground. All staff live on property and very friendly. They take great pride in the campground. We camped at Pine Island RV and Marina in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Very rural area so have supplies with you. Camp store does have a nice variety of stuff food and RV supplies.
Tips from campers about Pine Island RV and Marina
- AO & MO if you have a big rig ( over 35 ft), get a premium spot or pull through- there are lots of trees that make other spots very tricky & even unable to put out your slides. Other2 years ago Tahoe Valley Campground
- drw-cpa Drive around the lake was great. Good turnouts for photo opportunities. 2 hr boat tour on Discover Tahoe pontoon boat was excellent. Captain Hunter was quite good and knowledgeable, to Emerald Bay & back. Baldwin beach was fun for a play in sand and cold water dip. Lake Tahoe AleWorX great pizza, live music band Sat. night. Gondola ride to top of the mountain was great and $$$.2 years ago Tahoe Valley Campground
- googles Go to Fire and Ice restaurant for all you can eat meat, etc they cook in front of you. Beaches are close. We got to Sand Harbor Beach at 7 when they opened and the line was long so we went past it to King Beach and got a good spot around 7am. (About 45 min from campground, others are closer) Go early to beaches or good luck finding a spot.2 years ago Tahoe Valley Campground

“Off the beaten path”

The park is on the shore of a very big lake, always a plus. None of the lake front sites have sewer hookups, they do, however, have a dump station. I'd describe the park as very primitive, the one...

Tip for Other Campers:
If you stay here you should visit the Barberville Yard Art Emporium, it's a trip and HUGE. You're close enough to many of the Florida springs state parks for a visit and not far from Flagler Beach, where we had lunch one day, just a bit farther from Daytona,
