“Very nice city park off the beaten path”
Nightly Rate: $20 USD
Well maintained park in the small town of Sopchoppy. Lots of mature hardwood and pine trees, a boat ramp, and paved walkways. This is a first come, first serve , no reservation campground and public...

Tip for Other Campers:
Sopchoppy is a small town with very little to do. Civic brewery is a must do and has an excellent food truck on site periodically. Nearby Panacea has a few more restaurants and activities although many were closed for the Christmas holidays. There are some nice scenic coastal routes to drive. If arriving from the South, Google maps routed us on a short dirt...

Tip for Other Campers:
If you are a birdwatcher, St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge (Newport entrance) is really outstanding. The Everglades of North Florida. Wakulla Springs boat rides are fun, too. Lots of manatees, alligators, and bird life. A Dollar General is really the only game in town in Sopchoppy for supplies. The north side of Crawfordville has supplies. Miles and miles...

“A delightful city park”
Nightly Rate: $20 USD
This is a city park that is also set up for overnight campers. It is within the city limits, the Sopchoppy is so small it still feels rural. There are 12 sites near the river that have electric and...

Tip for Other Campers:
St Marks and bald point State Park are good for hiking and bird watching. Carrabelle has a good beach. There's a convenience store here, but major grocery shopping is 30 minutes away.
“Quite little town. Great value.”
Nightly Rate: $20 USD
Quiet little city park near the coast in the pan-handle of Florida, 40 miles south of Tallahassee. Approximately 25 sites. Half with full hookups (W,E,S), half with water & electric only. This is a...

Tip for Other Campers:
Sopchoppy has approx 600 residents with really nothing going on which is fine with us. No stores, no restaurants. Ten miles north is Hutton's Seafood food truck and Hamaknockers Bar-B-Q, both worth a visit and reasonable prices. Walkulla Natural Springs is 40 miles NE and probably worth a visit.
