Tip for Other Campers:
Publix, McDonalds, CVS all within 10 miles. We visited 96 National Historic Park. See a colonial road, 2 story log cabin, the Star fort site. They have National Park stamps, small museum. 1 miles hike on paved path to see the fort site, stockade, village site. Alot of history.

Definitely lakeside!! Spots are large, well equipped, except for sewer. No sewer hookup, but a good dumpsite at exit... We camped at Petersburg Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:
The key to getting into our campsite, #17 (as true for most of their pull-through sites), is to go past the first entrance. The second entrance will put the utilities on the driver's side. Note: For campsite #16 pull straight into the site when you see the sign post.

If you have any watercraft you are going to want to bring them. The largest lake in Georgia by area and shoreline! 20 minutes to major shopping and amenities.
