“Great value”

Great value for the cost. Paved sites that were very spacious for our overnight stay. Negative was there was no one on site and we did not have the code for the bath houses. Also, our neighbors were...

Tips from campers about Diamond Lakes Regional Park Campground
- Nick86 Fargo ND is only one hour away and definitely a good day trip. If you enjoy history and museums, go check out Bonanzaville. In Detroit Lakes, a Walmart and Aldi are only minutes from the park entrance. For a spot on the lake to eat and listen to music, be sure to check out Long Bridge Bar, Grill and Marina.2 years ago Forest Hills RV & Golf Resort
- NBirdie One hour to Fargo. Fargo has a fantastic Air Museum and Roger Maris Museum. Enjoyed the movies in Detroit Lakes.3 years ago Forest Hills RV & Golf Resort
- Dr Deb 315 There is a nice beach in town and shopping for whatever you need. We ate burgers at the clubhouse that were delicious.3 years ago Forest Hills RV & Golf Resort

“Close to Augusta but not too close”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
There is no office or anybody on site if you need help which didn't bother us. Everything works great at our site and there was free wood if you have a saw. Helena ran through here and there is still...

Tip for Other Campers:
Visit Woodroe Wilson's boyhood home. Do the river walk in town. Go see, possibly, an aligator at the Phinizy nature park. We saw 3. Drive to Columbia and visit the state capitol.

This is a no frills regional FHU campground that is close to Augusta and inexpensive. There was a lot that we liked about this campground and would plan to come back. However, I want to mention that...

Tip for Other Campers:
Augusta has a lot to offer! We visited the Morris Museum of Art, walked the Riverfront area, ate at Manuels bead cafe (delicious), and rode bikes on the North Augusta Greenway. Grocery stores that are near the campground are limited but Augusta has a Sprouts, Costco, and Fresh Market to name a few.
