It's been noted in several reviews but is important enough to say again.... Watch your navigation, you must come in from GA Hwy 22 side, bridge is only 9 foot height clearance.
Tips from campers about Watson Mill Bridge State Park
- GrumpyBears If you are taller than 9' or heavier than 3 tons, you MUST enter the park from the west, off Georgia Hwy 22. If you come from the east, off Georgia Hwy 72, you have to cross the bridge to get to the campground, and those are the limits.2 years ago Watson Mill Bridge State Park

- gdmcfadden Be care of routing software. We used RV Trip Wizard - and it routed us to the WRONG side of the covered bridge. Very stressful.... We had to backup the truck and trailer, turn around in a parking lot, and drive about 25 minutes back to the correct entrance. And when we were leaving, RV Trip Wizard again tried to route us across the covered bridge. There are no RVs allowed on the bridge. The closest town has very little in it for supplies (convenience store, Dollar General, gas, propane, Subway), but the hardware store was nice.
