Tip for Other Campers:
12 miles to Elberton. Big Ingles grocery store and tiny Walmart. Also Ace hardware. I prefer Hartwell which is about 20 miles. It has big Ingles, big Walmart and Home depot.

Tips from campers about Richard B. Russell State Park
- RVL331003 If you need gas, I recommend the Modil station on 1st Center Avenue in Brodhead. The Gas Islands are angled so easy entry and exit. And a little further down the road is a Piggly Wiggly grocery store. No Walmart in town.8 months ago Crazy Horse Campground

- NorthOf8 A short ride to town where you will find spots to eat. The historical museum has some great things for a small town. Sugar River bike trail is also a fun activity.
