“Excellent State Park”
Nightly Rate: $42 USD
I would highly recommend this Campground. The sites were large, full hookup in our site. Only issue was the flys. We camped at Fort McAllister State Park in a Travel Trailer.

“Historic Fort and Beautiful Campground”
Nightly Rate: $28 USD
Fort McAllister was a must do on my Civil War road trip. I had not realized that a beautiful and scenic campground was adjacent to it. We camped at Fort McAllister State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tour the wonderful museum and well preserved Fort McAllister early in the morning (opens at 8 AM). Bring bug spray.

Tip for Other Campers:
Publix is in Richmond Hill. A few restaurants around. The shack by the marina was always very busy so I assume their food is decent.

No problems known. Similar to north Florida bugs and all. We camped at Fort McAllister State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

BE very careful with site selection. We have a 30 5th wheel and were in site 30 advertised as a pull through. Nope, not even close! We camped at Fort McAllister State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
