“New and nice”
Nightly Rate: $85 USD
Very nice people. Just opened about 3 months ago. We camped at Scenic City RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:
Be sure to visit the National Chickamauga Civil War Battlefield, museum and Military Park, only 7 miles away. Thirty miles of great hiking trails through the battlegrounds having cast iron, marquees, cannons and monuments throughout the woods. The museum was excellent and part of the National Park system. It had the largest gun collection of that era.

Thatchers BBQ is directly across from park entrance. I didn't get a chance to try but others have given it great reviews

I hated to rate this new facility at 3 stars since it's just opened, and the folks were very nice and accommodating. My reasoning was price and condition of the sites. We needed a spur of the moment...
