Tips from campers about Cooper Creek Recreation Area

  Gypsea Land Yacht We went over to St Simons Island to visit with friends - nice restaurants, a Harris Teeter grocery store. (About 30 minutes to the east). You can also visit Jekyll Island - also about 30 minutes. If you head North on 95 for a few exits - there is a Walmart Supercenter, Lowes, Home Depot, Longhorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden and tons of other stuff (exit 39 I think - only about 10 minutes north on 95). I think Brunswick is chock full of some good history and museums - we just didnt get around to it.
