“They have a free dump site. Plenty of room for big RVs to turn. Easy access”
Site is right by police station, always clean and I have not seen it closed yet. We visited Kootenai County Fairgrounds RV Park, no overnight stay.
Tip for Other Campers:
The fair grounds have music festivals during summer, an annual state fair in August, not far from downtown, lake and mountains. Great bike trails!

Nightly Rate: $48 USD
It has long paved level pads, full hookups, grass, tree, picnic table on gravel. Nice location next to school and fairgrounds. Didnt use the bathroom but if they are as well cared for as the grounds...

Hudsons in town for a burger. Been there for 100 years. No lettuce or tomato just choice of cheese, pickle and onion. Fun to be part of history. Franklins for breakfast and lunch. Small but very good.

- Steve N Carol Sooooo much to do!!! Hunt Brothers !!!! FRITTERS, FRITTERS, FRITTERS!!!!!! If you love baked goods, this is the place!!! Also very good lunch (Frisco Burger and fries). Leinenflugar Brewery is a MUST as well! Superbly maintained older historical site. We drove 50 R/T miles to Darwin to visit the "Largest Ball of Twine in the World." The docent at the museum is superb and gave us a GREAT tour of the old railroad station and the facts surrounding the twine ball. A TRUE piece of Americana.....
