Tip for Other Campers:
Good grocery very close and easy drive into Sandpoint which is a small quaint town that we enjoyed and there is a lot of stores to shop in, tourist trap stores. But be sure to visit the restaurants for some excellent food, especially the Chinese Restaurant, it has to be the absolute best Chinese that we have ever had, ANYWHERE! There were a variety of restaurants, grocery stores, a mall and a movie theatre. There are so many things to do in Sandpoint/Ponderay. There is the ski resort within 10 minutes of the park.
Tips from campers about Sandpoint RV
- GA-RVers Good grocery very close and easy drive into Sandpoint which is a small quaint town that we enjoyed and there is a lot of stores to shop in, tourist trap stores. But be sure to visit the restaurants for some excellent food, especially the Chinese Restaurant, it has to be the absolute best Chinese that we have ever had, ANYWHERE! Sandpoint is a very relaxing place to visit, leave all the big city, large town craziness behind and enjoy Sandpoint, you will probably plan another visit when you go here once. Unreasonable rules for pets. Very small spots, tight quarters, many full-timers, gravel sites. Large bathrooms with shower and potty in same room. We camped at Sandpoint RV in a Motorhome.
