I wasn't sure if this campground was even open with no reviews and little information. I called the city park office and learned it is open, water is on and there are 30 and 50 amp hookups. Navigate...

We had a very delicious dinner at Yoders Kitchen - it was like my grandma's cooking!
Tips from campers about Jurgens City Park
- Rlilly We left central Texas at the end of May, 2021. The temperature then was just beginning to heat up. Now we hear it's unbearable (as usual). Weather in Pagosa Springs is in the mid 40s to 50s at night, warming to the high 80s during the heat of the day. All quite bearable with the low humidity (30-40%). Lots to do in the area. Hiking, climbing, fishing, rafting, biking, golfing (I don't golf, but if I did, the course looks wonderful) . And don't forget the main attraction... the hot springs which is the center of the downtown activity. Lot's of nature for bird nerds, deer, and all other typical mountain fauna. Don't wear red, or the humming birds will knock you down.4 years ago Pagosa Riverside Campground
- George ES if you want to stay here, make sure you know the situation with site layouts. Clearly, some sites are nice, while others are pretty crappy.4 years ago Pagosa Riverside Campground
- Topoceans691 Definitely head up the road to Treasure Falls, which you can see from the road, or hike the switchbacks to the bottom of the falls. We drove the long gravel road to Piedra Falls and then hiked back to the base of the falls. It was a beautiful drive back through the valley. Not much to see in Pagosa Springs unless you are into hot springs.11 months ago Pagosa Riverside Campground
