The park is rather remote for eating out. We would not recommend it for any big rigs. Its old and OK for small rigs.

Nice State Park electric only. Only a few campers through the week Dark and quiet at night We camped at Weldon Springs State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

- WPJenkins Some historical sites nearby like old school house and inside is an Illinois museum. I liked it a lot. Clinton, small town shopping NE 3 miles. About 20 miles south is Decatur, IL for more shopping and hospitals with Pop. Of about 75,000.4 years ago Weldon Springs State Park

We've spent considerable time here as camped here several times in the past. It's partly shaded and nice. There are picnic tables, concrete fire rings, gravel back in, and many pull through spots....
