“Great campground with over 100 sites (~15 are FHU). Hiking, boating, beach and playgrounds. ”

Great SRA with some FHU sites. E5 is the only 50a FHU. Great hiking trails, beautiful lake for boating/fishing, great setup for in-season pheasant and deer hunting. (We saw over 50 deer one evening)....

Explore the trails. Go to the beach in season. Didnt venture out into town but everything you would ever need is in Decatur or Bloomington about 30min away.

Tips from campers about Clinton Lake State Recreation Area
- Jeancal If you're coming from the north I highly suggest you turn left at a signal , either Middle Creek or Dollywood lane then right on River all the way to the park . - Lynn0341 SO MANY GREAT PLACES TO EAT IN THIS AREA... OLD MILL IS ONE OF OUR TOP PLACES TO EAT BREAKFAST AND LUNCH.. THEY DO NOT SERVE DINNER. WE TRIED THE FIVE OAKS FARM KITCHEN RIGHT UP THE ROAD FROM US AND ENDED UP EATING TWO DIFFERENT TIMES WHILE THERE... YOU GET ALOT OF FOOD FOR THE VALUE AND THE PLACE IS SO COOL ON THE INSIDE.
