There are several campgrounds within the park so make sure you get the right one. We camped in the West Side Campground of the Horseshoe Lake Conservation Area, which is right on the lake itself....

Found this park while traveling down I-57 South. Needed a place for the night. Park off the beaten path, and quiet. Fire pits in poor shape, but the view of the lake is very pretty. Not a class A...
