“Campground sits on Lake Michigan. There are only 5 or 6 sites available to stay at. ”

- Shontell Walmart is a couple of miles away. We visited the Chicago Botanical Gardens (30 min ride). Downtown Chicago was an hour ride. We took a boat tour. Worth it! There is a lot of traffic getting out of the city. There is a train station right outside the base which might be a better option. “Lake Michigan is Great”
Nightly Rate: $24 USD
It was pushing to give 4 stars. Electric only sites. Some are 30A only. We stayed 12 nights. Dumped tanks at dump once and then the night before as we wanted a early start on the road in the morning....

Tip for Other Campers:
Commissary is off base about 4 miles. There is a NEX on this part of the base and by commissary on Green Bay road. Gas station only had 92 on base. There is one in Forrestal Housing also. Large park and dog park there also.
