Tip for Other Campers:
This is a dark sky park. One a clear night one can see tons of stars along with the Milky Way. Paxton is 9 miles away and they have a 24 hour grocery store and 4 fuel stations. The hardware store in Paxton also fills propane. Overall we had a good experience at Middle Fork. Verizon cell service is not very good in the campground. We had one bar of signal...

- Tin Can Tourist We ate at a little restaurant, Roma Italian Bistro, located about 15 minutes away in Minden. They had some great NY-style pizza. We also visited the small Bonnie and Clyde museum before we left the following day. It is fascinating if you are looking for something to do.
