“Old campground, great trees, wonderful level site, nice people as host”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
Will definitely stay here again, level site pull through, great tall trees, nice camp hosts. We camped at Prairie Pines Campground in a Motorhome.

“Good overnight near town”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
Park is relatively clean, branches around but not much. Sites were clean, mowed, large and accessible. We camped at Prairie Pines Campground in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Stores, shopping, and food are all close for all price ranges. Walmart and fast food was within a couple miles.
Be aware when using a GPS in getting to the park it may take you on a tour around the old air force base and not directly to the campground. My phone worked better than the GPS.
Tips from campers about Prairie Pines Campground
- BillCraig Don't rely on auto GPS to get you here or you will end up going down some less than easy country roads to get to the campground. Get onto state route 45 and follow GPS from there.2 years ago Prairie Pines Campground

Tip for Other Campers:
Walmart is not far. The best steak house on the continent is in Gifford, 7 miles away - the Longbranch. We found it by accident - yes go! Get directions rather than follow your GPS - ours was close, sort of.
