“Nice enough stay”

We were there right after Labor Day and almost no one was there. Kind of weird but nice and quiet. We went into Springfield to see Lincoln stuff. Campground is about 30 min from downtown Springfield....

Plan your trip with water and sewer as the sites don't have it.
Nice park. Would recommend and return. We camped at Deer Run Campground, Sangchris Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Springfield is a short drive and has everything you need. Take a trip downtown and look at the historical stuff. Make the short drive over to Bulpitt and check out Rumors bar,great people there!!!!!!!!!!!!!
