Have to drive to Cherry Valley to get to any stores etc. Motor homes will need a toad.

Nice Camground. It was easy to find and get into. Friendly staff. We camped at Blackhawk Valley Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips from campers about Blackhawk Valley Campground
- WhereTheWindBlows If you have a tow, it's best to park in town and drive around and find a spot. It's extremely dusty. There are lots of hidden sites so take your time looking. April was very quiet and there were few campers. We couldn't actually see anyone else from our site.10 years ago Alabama Hills Recreation Area
- Travelers M & M The movie museum is a must see as well as the drive along Movie Rd and up to the arch area. Alabama Hills cafe is a fabulous place to eat, breakfast or lunch. It has a terrific menu and the food is excellent.3 years ago Alabama Hills Recreation Area
