- Jacqueline_85 There is a clean laundromat, a couple of restaurants and ice cream in the town of Thomson and just a bike ride down the Mississippi is Fulton and you can ride across the bridge to Clinton. In Clinton visit the Sawmill museum for the kids, pickleball courts in River Park has friendly players that welcome you to open play, there are coffee shops and restaurants. We really liked the baked goods in Krumpetts Bakery in Fulton. I kept going back for the Sourcream pie. Wish we could stay longer.6 months ago Thomson Causeway
