- Rob1070 When turning off of 154 onto Gun Creek Trail, there is a large hump you wont see as you cross onto the concrete. Take it S-L-O-W. I about dumped all the contents in my cabinets out taking it a little too quick the first time camping there.2 years ago Gun Creek Campground

“Beautiful quiet park on a lake”
Nightly Rate: $18 USD
Great park, just a mile or two off I57. We just did an overnight but snagged a site by the water and loved watching the sunset over the lake. We camped at Gun Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

These sites are nice paved sites BUT just a handful of them are flat. The majority of them are sloped towards the woods or water. Beware when releasing the breaks, lol! Lots of wildlife and bugs to go...
