“Great little campground next to the coliseum ”
Nightly Rate: $35 USD
We stayed one night and the space was great for our 45ft 5th wheel. Nice people and easy to get around. We camped at Johnny Appleseed Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

“Nice location”
Nightly Rate: $30 USD
Site was perfect for our needs. Location is great. Be sure to bring extra water hose as you might have a long reach to shared spicket. We camped at Johnny Appleseed Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Visit nearby Grabill and spend time in the Antique shop with loads of booths of old and new items. Then visit the General Country Store to stock up on bakery and bulk items. Cord-Dusenberg Museum is impressive....
Tips from campers about Johnny Appleseed Campground
- Himie We enjoyed traveling approximately 25 minutes to Graybill to visit a great antique and craft store. Spent 2 hours in the shop and still only gave items a quick glance...lots to see! There is also a bulk food store in Graybill and a lovely coffee shop. The Auburn Cord Duesenburg Museum in nearby Auburn is impressive.4 years ago Johnny Appleseed Campground
- hankw5 We, and our extended family, did all carryout food this trip (no dining in) due to the pandemic. All our favorite places did a great job - Baan Thai very nearby on North Clinton, Don Chava's on North Wells Street (also operates Cebolla's around town), Panera on Coliseum. Socially distanced activities - Fort Wayne Zoo four times! (Sr Discount or annual pass if you go enough. Plus discount if you have a pass from many other zoos - bring your Pass). Salomons Park Sunflower Farm (plus other varied programs during the year). Site 42 was fully paved with water and electric at the site. Just across the road to laundry and wash house. Easy check in and out. All in all good one night stop. We camped at Johnny Appleseed...
