Oakland city has a nice resturant and an ice cream shop. Petersburg has a couple nice places to eat as does Princeton. Both of which are a 20 minute or so drive.

- OlderGoat Reasonably priced, decent RV campgrounds are hard to find in eastern Maine. If you dont need electrical, consider going to a state park or National Forest. Road into campground is a sharp right turn just after the bridge crossing the river11 months ago Riverbend Retreat

“Nice business trip camping!”

Stayed 3 days and 2 nights. I was at a spot on the lake. Gravel was level and has water with electric. 30 and 50 amp. No full hooks ups! There is a dump station on the way out of the campground....

Close to Toyota TMMI. Have your own shower and toilet unless you dont mind using the potty over a hole.

Grocery is limited to a small IGA grocery store or Dollar General.
Diesel is available at several stations, advise calling or checking GasBuddy for pricing. Found as much as 20 cents difference between stations

Gravel sites with 30 and 50 amp service. Water. No sewer. But they do have a dump station or they will empty your tanks on-site for a nominal fee. So quiet with large mature trees and nice fishing...
