Didnt really explore the town nearby. There is a golf course right next to the campground, if thats something you like to do.

Tip for Other Campers:
Southfork motel/restaurant on the south edge of town on Highway 63 has very good food. Easily the best place in Bloomfield to eat. The Country Club (next to McGowen campground) is a good eating spot as well.
