Good golf course right across the river. Plenty of shopping about 3miles south of campground....
“Small, nice and rustic”

The park is small, maybe 23 sites, total, but the slab was concrete and almost totally level. The bathrooms were not coded and they were rustic, concrete floors and block walls, but they were clean....

Take a tour through the George M. Verity, a sternwheeler towboat that is permanently dry-docked. Go to the observation deck to see Lock # 19, the power plant and dam and go to the dam museum in town for a great tour given by Kirk.
