Tips from campers about Indianola, IA
- 19hokie81 NC Zoo about 10 minutes away. Town of Ashboro about 10 minutes away also. Gas, groceries, etc. readily at hand. Campground is convenient to interstate but couldn't hear any noise from there - however the campground does sit next to the local access road and that generated noticeable noise. Laundry room had 4 sets of washing machines/dryers - and all appeared to be working!2 years ago Zooland Family Campground
- Torinalth Asheboro zoo is 11 min away, shopping is 7 min away. NTB in Asheboro can get tires for campers and rvs same day on the most popular sizes, but parking is horrible there so call them for where they want you to park if you bring your equipment to reshoe it.2 years ago Zooland Family Campground
- jdshess You may need an extra water hose to hook up, it was definitely a stretch and we had to use two hoses. Cooler week days may be a better choice when visiting the Zoo. We went on Labor Day - crowded, humid and not many animals out and about.7 months ago Zooland Family Campground
