Make sure you have what you need before you get here...it's two miles from downtown; the restaurant is only open Thursday through Sunday; and there are no other options.

Great owners. There's a cute restaurant on site that's open Thu-Sun. Reasonably priced. A fabulous Reuben sandwich! We camped at Red Barn Campground & Restaurant in a Motorhome.

We drove to Effigy Mounds National Monument. Very cool. Town of McGregor is also super cute. There's a nice little IGA in town.

We arrived on a Monday, camp host left map and directions on door of restaurant since we arrived after 4:00 pm, where setup. Gravel to site, pull through, pretty level. Restaurant not open Monday...

Had a pull through, full hook up site. Everything worked as expected and was clean and nice. Bonus was laundry room on site, clean and inexpensive. Road was a little bumpy and had to drive slow....
