  Moby2 See the Badlands. Be sure to bring everything you may need...there isn't much (i.e. essentially anything) available in any reasonable driving distance. One thing we did that IS amazing is to go back to the park well after sunset (we did this at about 10:00PM) when it is fully dark and drive 10 or so miles west. Find a place to pull off of the road and turn off the car and all of the lights...get outside and look at the sky. The Badlands area is one of the darkest parts of the nation at night, the sky is amazing!

  clf dll Bring what you need. Wall is 30ish miles away. Fuel is pricey, top off before arriving.

  Stephanie5 From the campground, you can start your day at the visitors center and then take the loop road for great views. The loop runs next to Wall Drug and Minuteman site 9 and Minuteman visitors center. We had lunch at Wall Drug which seemed expensive $45 for two of us the have hamburgers and tea. It is the only place to eat otherwise pack your lunch.
