Tip for Other Campers:
While we were here, though we had limited time, we went to the beautiful historic Iowa State Capital and did a 90 minute guided tour. So informative and the capital is absolutely beautiful. The law library is rated in the top 40 most beautiful libraries in the world. The grounds have numerous memorials and statues worth exploring too.

“No discounts for seniors, like the Corps of Engineers (50%). Makes camping for seniors difficult.”

Lots of room in the campsites. Very clean campgrounds. We camped at Yellow Banks County Park in a Fifth Wheel.
