“Great value”
Nightly Rate: $30 USD
Stayed overnight. Level grass sites. Not many there so I was able to pull thru. A close train blasted it's horn all night. We camped at Kansas State Fairgrounds in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips from campers about Kansas State Fairgrounds
- Karen_676 Make sure you check out what events are booked before you book your campsite.
- Travelstorm A very big, reasonably priced and clean laundromat is less than 3 miles away in the town of Rock Springs (use your GPS to find it). A very good place to eat is the Sopporo Japanese Steak House. A little speedy, but again - worth every dime. There is a Love's truck stop at the edge of town along I80 for those who need diesel fuel and lots of fuel stations in town for those who's engines take gasoline.4 years ago Sweetwater Events Complex - RV Park

Atttended a small RV Rally at these fairgrounds. Very nice setup.

Tip for Other Campers:
The Salt mine Tour is excellent. Steak restaurant at the airport is excellent. The little restaurant at the edge of the fairgrounds was great. Close to all shopping including Walmart, ORilleys, and pumpkin spice coffee! Missed the space place, will have to go back.

“There for HDT Rally”

This facility is very close to town. It was a bit windy because it's October but we were there for the National Heavy Duty Truck rally. We camped at Kansas State Fairgrounds in a Travel Trailer.

Use Gate 4 to enter. That way you don't have to drive through the entire complex.
