Nice campground. Not an easy access off of I-80, but easy off of I-335 & US 50. Has beach. Nice & quite. We camped at Bloomington West Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Did not venture out. Excellent value for overnight stay. A little of a drive to get to the CG. Out of the way & quiet.

wellibe The drive in from Wakefield is 16 miles of the roughest paved road that I've traveled in a while. Mostly 35 mph or less if you want to avoid damaging your rig.

RVL421166 Bring screen tent if you have one. Flies were really bad a couple of the days. Mosquitoes not as bad because it was windy most of the time. Great sunsets over Lake Superior.

1998 Ultrasport It's about 20 miles to the closest gas, restaurant and grocery store. Plan accordingly. Say HI to Scott and Paul at the ranger station when you go in. Both GREAT guys to talk to and VERY helpful. Tell them "Steve" said HI! Pick up some Keweenaw Brewing Widow Maker dark beer. Good stuff.
