“Nice quiet park on the lake. ”
Nightly Rate: $22 USD
Park was great. Site was large and had full hookups. Beautiful sunset Ive the lake. Bathroom and shower very primitive. I Would not use. We camped at Cross Timbers State Park in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Seems like a good location for boating, fishing, and other water activities. Also seems has some good spots for families or groups.
Tips from campers about Cross Timbers State Park
- Lstad196 Visit the Pacific War and Nimitz Museums in Fredericksburg (10 min from RV park). Fredericksburg has shops and restaurants and is walkable. Visit the LBJ Ranch which is about 20 minutes away. There are plenty of fuel stations within town.
- BRENDA_586 Pedernales Falls State Park. Blanco State Park. Enchanted Rock State Park. Altstadt Brewery. Safari Winery.
- AnnaMD Fredericksburg has lots of music and dancing. Main Street has several lots of shopping. The Pacific War Museum (WWII) is well done with lots of exhibits and three locations. We golfed Lady Bird Johnson course about a 25 minute drive and it was well maintained and a nice course. We went to Enchanted Rock but didn't realize you need to reserve a spot. Park looked lovely and was a 30 minute drive but make sure to make reservations.

This is a beautiful state park with open spaces and shade trees. We stayed in the Osage Plains part of Cross Timbers with a full hook up pullthru on asphalt. The park is quiet and dark at night...

Tip for Other Campers:
There are playgrounds and biking and boating in the park but not much in the area around the park so come with what you are going to need. Also theres no Wi-Fi and very little cell service

This park is very nice. Its quiet and well-maintained. The sites are large. There are paved roads throughout. Laundry facilities onsite were clean. Kayak checkout was easy and free. Friendly staff....
