Tip for Other Campers:
The coffee shop and Cinnamon rolls others rave about is closed Sunday and Monday. Self service pay box. The website link in Trip Wizard doesn't work. I used the phone number on the photo posted of the paybox info sign.
Back in sites but if No one is in the site in front of you just pull through.

Got in after dark and there was only 1 site left. Thank goodness! It was really a quiet and safe. We camped at Fort Wallace RV Park in a Motorhome.

Check out the bank! Good coffee. And the museum is worth a stop
Tips from campers about Fort Wallace RV Park
- TH travelers Sharkey Hot Springs is about 45 min south. Tie it into a scenic backways drive and make a great day of it. There is an Amish store in Baker, en route to the scenic backway. Pick up lunch there, but it is closed Sun and Thurs. The ghost town of Shoup isn't worth the drive, except for the scenery and the Firefighters Memorial on the way there. 4 spots but 1 seems to be permanently full. Simple spot in a small town. Check out the bank and museum. We camped at Fort Wallace RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
