Tip for Other Campers:
We went to Mammoth cave, about a 45 min drive if you dont catch the ferry. Walmart about 25 min away, Dollar General and Fuel within 10 miles.

Lots of shade. Great walking for exercise. Swimming beach. Boat ramp and dock. We camped at Dog Creek in a Travel Trailer.

They do need more garbage receptacles spread out throughout.

Question:
Can someone please provide info about the Green River Ferry? Is it accessible from this park or do I need to drive to the terminal? What is the cost? My understanding this ferry takes you directly to Mammoth NP so do i need to bring my car? Thank you in advance for your help...

“Good lake campground”
Nightly Rate: $18 USD
Site was wide and level, although it slopped slightly downhill, with good view of lake. Very busy on the weekends! We camped at Dog Creek in a Fifth Wheel.
