- MFTDoc Of course, the best thing is that this park is about half-way (time-wise, not milage wise) between Bryce Canyon and Zion. It took about 55 minutes to get to either visitor's center from this park. Glendale is a small town, and the nearest grocery store is some distance away. Tip for Other Campers:
We came from the west. Our GPS put uns on a state route, 226, I think. It was skinny, with a nerve racking edge. US 62 or 62 would be a better choice, actually anything would be a better choice.
