We were only going to stay for 5 nights, Betty talked us into coming early and stayed for 10 nights. Every afternoon at 5 or 5:30 Betty holds a happy hour and shares stories and advice for places to go and things to see. Tips from campers about Betty's RV Park
- Jed Downs Restaurants are a 15 to 20 min drive. We ate at the Laredo Grill in Quincy, good Mexican Food2 years ago Flat Creek Family Campground
- Ocean1 Gas station is nearby but otherwise remote. General store does sell food you can cook in your RV.2 years ago Flat Creek Family Campground
- ken&pattistravels There really isn't any restaurants, shops or stores nearby, so be prepared to support your needs when arriving here. We are on our last day of our month long stay. This is the most unique and welcoming rv park we have ever stayed at. We no longer think of Betty as an our campground host but consider her a friend....

Great places to eat- the villager, Bon creole, old tyme grocery, and the riverfront grill. Betty will direct you.
Take the Cajun food tour in Lafayette or Breaux Bridge.
Sidnie Maes restaurant in Breaux Bridge was the best meal we had.
The omelette festival was amazing.
