- Happy Camper 1487 We did not eat at the restaurant next door, we heard it was pricey and sub-par! We enjoy fishing in this region of WV it is within an hour of most great fishing spots.3 years ago Smokey Bottom Campground

Be aware that navigating to the facility is challenging and take notes as you go to make sure the return trip is smooth. The gate you come in at is all the way to the other side of the base. There is no online map I could fine....

Barksdale is on the FAR east side of town, so give yourself time to get places. The visitor's center in town is very helpful with places to see....
