  Arnie11 Go a little further into Sussex County where you'll find several nicer rv parks or if you're visiting The New York City area check out Mahlon Dickerson Reservation RV Park on Weldon Rd. Jefferson, NJ. This is a beautiful park with paved roads and paved sites (all w/e)--no sewer at sites but a dump station across from clean restrooms that have individual showers that have outside individual entry doors that lock. The showers have glass doors and a dressing area with bench. I'd make reservations well in advance as this woodsy park is in demand. It is operated by the Morris County (NJ) Park Service. We've stayed there almost yearly as my children and grandchildren live within 15 miles of the park. Only negative is I can't get my Direct TV due to the amount of foliage/tree's. Sites are paved and level and during the fall Count workers blow the leaves off the sites and roads almost daily.

  Lauren R Just don't come here if you can avoid it. It's a 1 hour drive to liberty park and 50 min to Newark.

  Jon and Laura Zeliff While we were here, we did the City Experiences Statue City Cruises - we paid $174 for this trip, which included the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, 9/11 Museum and Memorial, and the One World Observatory. Unfortunately, what we were NOT told was that this was not a round trip ticket. We did the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island and then caught a boat over to the 9/11 Museum and Memorial and the One World Observatory. When we tried to board the boat to get back to our start location, Liberty Park, we were told we would have to pay $44 to get back - this was the cost of two tickets to go to Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty - what a rip-off! Buyer beware!
