Stayed here for some of winter. Pleasant neighbors, manager and owner. Reliable wifi. May have problems w sewer. Would consider staying again. We camped at Richards RV Park in a Motorhome.
Tip for Other Campers:
10 mi to good shopping in Chalmette
Great location for visiting New Orleans. 15 mile drive straight into NO. 40 MPH, so it takes about 30 minutes. Nice shady park. The owner was great. She was out of town so she asked a neighbor to...

- User4887 About 15 miles from the city of New Orleans; we arrived the friday of the last weekend of mardi grais. Lots of small communities surround the area as well. Basic shopping is less than 10 miles away. New Orleans has excellent tour buses (Hop on Hop off); street trolley cars (exact change-$1.25 or a 24 hour pass for $3.00) and shopping +++; food choices cover every taste and desire.9 years ago Richards RV Park

We are here right now and would very much recommend this park. It's quiet, I feel safe here, and it is only about a 15 minute straight shot to downtown. We looked at several Parks and we were very...
